4″ Wall Radiation Shield. The product dimensions are 15″ for the covering plate and 8″ for the inside cylinder and 6″ for the opening where the chimney pipe passes through. This product is used to created an air gap when going through a wall. Some applications require the shield to be insulated as well as the pipe used to go through the wall to maintain correct clearance to combustibles.  This 4″ Wall Radiation Shield is not insulated. Used for 90 degree elbow installations where going through a wall horizontally. The center opening for pass through is 6″ in diameter and the shield has overlapping round cylinders in the middle to accommodate different size wall thicknesses. Check your county install guides to make sure you are installing the correct part in the type of wall that you are passing through. Make sure nothing is touching the inside walls of the pass through cylinder. If needed line the inside of the wall with fireproof materials or use an insulated wall shield if you are unsure. Never use as a pass through on a ceiling or go through a loft with chimney pipe.
