Mini Me pellet stove

The current Mini Me non-electric pellet stove

The Mini Me Non-Electric Pellet Stove feeds wood pellets by gravity and operates without an electric auger or household electrical supply. It is a different product from the original Mini Me 8 and 12 energy log stoves.

Use the current model’s performance information

The current product information reports EPA-tested emissions of 0.36 grams per hour and an overall efficiency of 76% HHV. These are model-specific test figures. The published heating-area estimate is approximately 200 to 1,000 square feet; actual coverage depends on the building, climate, installation and operation.

Review the Mini Me manuals and certification-report links for the supporting documentation. EPA emissions certification and a safety listing address different matters, and neither should be extended to an older stove merely because it shares the Mini Me name.

Plan the chimney and installation first

The stove requires the specified 4-inch connector and Class A HT chimney arrangement. Do not substitute ordinary pellet vent. Check the current manual for clearances, hearth protection, chimney height, insulation and routing, and confirm the requirements for the intended structure.

Its body dimensions are only one part of the footprint. Include access to the hopper, door and cleaning areas when measuring the space. Installation and component selection should follow the model’s instructions and applicable local requirements.

Fuel, hopper and everyday care

The current model has a hopper rated for up to 40 pounds. Use the pellets specified for the stove and follow its lighting, control and shutdown procedures. Hopper capacity does not establish a fixed burn time under every condition.

Non-electric operation does not remove the need for care. Maintain the air passages, seals, firebox and chimney as directed. Cleaning tools are not included with the current stove.

Own an older Mini Me?

Use the original Mini Me 8 and 12 information to identify that range. Its add-on hoppers, feed arrangement and published dimensions should not be mixed into the current pellet stove’s specifications.
