This installation of this unit is fairly simple, but needed. Therefor, it is important to install it correctly. Secondly, know that is is for support only, not for snow slide or high wind areas.  Similarly, if you live in a high wind area, consider adding extra support with different products to keep the chimney safe.  For example, if you get a lot of snow, buy a pole kit and install that as well.

This product secures tightly under your roof boot of choice and seals down to the roof with screws. However, keep in mind it may not always be your only source of support.

The 4" T-Roof Support is a handy addition to your install, saving time and effort down the road. Secondly, it keeps the pipe from rocking back and forth.
